Did you do the art and your friend do the tattoo or did he do everything?
The thing that is really cool is all 3 of those characters have multiple genre appeals because they are really abstract but great designs.
Yeah, I did the art based on old Marvel UK stuff and gave the designs and concepts to Jase, who added his own ideas. So it was a joint collaboration from start to finish. Even when I was sat in tattoo chair, we were throwing last minute ideas in there.
It's always cool to come across a Transformers fan like your good self, that has a greater understanding and appreciation for the Pretender characters, designs, toys etc. As much as I love the main dudes, ala, Megatron, Grimlock, Jazz, Sounwave etc, I really like the quirky stuff too, probably even more so.
Once again cheers for the comment. I'll upload a coloured Octopunch pic in a couple of days and the Stranglehold outline in a fortnight.
